Coffeyville Refinery Hit With $300,000 EPA Fine

Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing will pay a $300,000 civil penalty as part of a settlement agreement for alleged clean air violations at its Coffeyville oil refinery. As part of the settlement, the company also must undergo a series of audits and reviews of its risk management procedures. This is the third time Coffeyville Resources has been hit with a fine from the Environmental Protection Agency in the past year.
