A 30-year-old man is recovering at a Minot hospital after he was found with stab wounds at an oilfield camp near Tioga in North Dakota's booming oil patch. The man was discovered walking through the Capital Lodge camp at 6:30 a.m.

Texas operators won't need a permit to recycle water used during hydraulic fracturing on their own leases under a set of rules recently adopted by the Texas Railroad Commission. The commission, which regulates oil and gas activity in the state, also established recycling permit application requirements to reflect standard field conditions for recycling permits.
