BMI View: Gazprom's involvement in exploratory drilling in Bangladesh is part of the country's plans to increase domestic gas production using the expertise of foreign oil companies. Bangladesh's growing gas requirements provide a ready market but infrastructure bottlenecks and unattractive exploration and production terms could limit foreign interest.
