New Belgium Brewing Co. has chosen design firm Perkins+Will as architect for its first expansion on the East Coast. Fort Collins, Colo.-based New Belgium announced in April that it will spend $175 million to build its second location, a 150,000-square-foot facility with a 200-barrel brewing system, tasting room and on-site process wastewater treatment center, in Asheville.
