A new study predicts that Ohio will more than double the number of jobs attributable to shale-gas production to more than 80,000 by 2035, a far cry from a similar study that predicted 200,000 shale jobs in the state by 2015, the Vindicator in Youngstown reports. The study by IHS said that Ohio had 31,462 shale-related jobs in 2010, but that will grow to 41,366 by 2015 and 81,349 by 2035, the newspaper reports.
