Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC) has begun construction on a natural gas processing plant in La Salle County amid plans to ramp up drilling in the Eagle Ford Shale this year, the Houston Chronicle reports. Construction of the Brasada Gas Plant has already begun on 156 acres about one mile south of Cotulla. The plant is expected to begin operating in April 2013, reports the Chronicle.
