Spain?s solar and wind sector has had a horrific go of it lately. Financial support and political will have all but vanished over the last year, culminating in a full suspension of government funding at the end of January. The renewable sector, Spain's hope for its desperately needed economic recovery and next best chance to secure a position of real economic leadership in Europe, has all but evaporated. The future is just about surviving.
