The CEO of the American Petroleum Institute told a Cleveland audience Friday that energy production already has generated more than $22 billion in Ohio, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Jack Gerard told the newspaper that production from shale states like Ohio could help North America become energy independent in 12 years. Gerard also recently spoke during a jobs summit in Columbus. Ohio is the "first state I know of" that plans to raise taxes to try to lure business, a frustrated Gerard said...
