Alfa Laval has announced it has won a contract to supply heat exchangers for a natural gas project in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Gazette has reported. The $11.7m deal will see the Swedish firm provide heat exchangers to be used in a new major gas processing facility in the kingdom dedicated to recover energy in the gas cleaning process, bringing down power consumption and CO2 emissions. The project is scheduled for completion in 2013, the company said.
