Public Service Electric and Gas Co. said Monday it has agreed to not give credit-reporting agencies information about its customers. The subsidiary of Newark, N.J.-based Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. (NYSE:PEG) announced in September 2010 that it planned to start reporting the payment histories of its customers to Experian Information Services Inc., a subsidiary of Dublin, Ireland-based Experian plc. The New Jersey Division of Rate Counsel filed a petition with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities in November 2011 to halt the plan...
