Mars Chocolate North America indicated in an economic development agreement with the city of Topeka that the new manufacturing plant it's building there would include a wind turbine, but the Federal Aviation Administration has rejected those plans. The Topeka Capital-Journal reports the FAA says the turbine would interfere with the airspace of the nearby Forbes Field. Mars says it's now considering other forms of alternative energy to help power the plant instead, like solar power.
