Turkey has no plans to cut its imports of Iranian oil, despite rising pressure from international sanctions and initial signals it may buy more Saudi oil, Reuters has reported, citing Turkish and Saudi sources. Abu Dhabi National Energy Co (Taqa), which owns assets in Canada and Europe, has posted a 26% drop in yearly profits due to a one-time charge and UK taxes on oil and gas producers, Reuters has reported. Taqa, which is 75% owned by the government of Abu Dhabi, said 2011 net profit was Dhs752m ($204.74m), down from Dhs1.02bn in 2010.
